Write a Note for the Camp STAR Encouragement Wall
Volunteer PortalThis activity is in celebration of #TogetherTuesday, a day when communities come together to make a difference. At Camp STAR, we believe that no child should walk the journey of grief alone, and that the community plays a role in Sharing Together And Remembering. That’s why we’re launching our encouragement note campaign!
We’re inviting you to write a brief, uplifting note to our campers. All our campers are young people from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan that have lost someone close to them, and your words can help them know they are not alone on their grief journey.
How to participate: Leave your note of encouragement in the comments on this Facebook or Instagram post, email it to upcampstar@gmail.com or mail your note to Camp STAR, PO Box 878, Marquette, MI 49855. We’ll be accepting virtual and physical notes through July 1.
