Join the Fun! Volunteer for Half-Day Youth Adventures!
When: March 12, 13, 16th 12pm-6:00pm
Shifts available from 12:00–2:00 PM
2:00–4:00 PM 4:00–6:00 PM
What You’ll Do: Help launch the day with a warm welcome, lunch service, and
set up fun activities. Lead games, creative projects, and keep youth engaged
through the afternoon. Serve after-school meals, support structured activities,
and end the day with smiles!
Why Join: Two hours of your time can make a big difference for kids in our
community. It’s fun, fulfilling, and all about building connections and
confidence!
Our Days will all have special visitors Thursday March 12th we
will have First TEE joining us, and Friday
and Monday will have MSU-extension 4-H joining us for some Coding and STEM
activities.
Shift 1 — Midday Mingle & Meal Crew 12:00–2:00 PM
What You’ll Do: Welcome youth, help with lunch, lead icebreaker games, and
get everyone ready for an exciting afternoon. Be the spark that kicks off the

Shift 2 — Creative Connections Crew 2:00–4:00 PM W
hat You’ll Do: Lead crafts, guide team games, and keep spirits high during
our most active hours. Love creativity and laughter? This shift is your
chance to inspire and make memories with our youth! Sign Up: Pick “Creative

Shift 3 — Afternoon Wrap-Up Warriors 4:00–6:00 PM
What You’ll Do: Help serve after-school meals, lead relaxing games, and make
sure every youth leaves happy and supported. The perfect way to wrap up the
day! You’ll help end the afternoon on a high note, full of smiles and

Before You Volunteer: All volunteers must complete a Volunteer Packet,
including a background check, before beginning any assignment. Volunteers will
also participate in an orientation and training session with a staff member
prior to their first shift.
Paperwork Hours: Paperwork and forms can be completed in person at the Lake
Superior Village Youth & Family Center (1901 Longyear Ave, Marquette, MI
49855) during regular business hours: Monday – Friday, 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
