Dear United Way Supporter

Those of us involved with the United Way campaign often asked the question, "Why give to United Way?" There are many ways to answer:

• All of us want to give back to our community and make it safer and healthier for our friends, familis and neighbors.
• When you give through United Way of Marquette County, your money goes far, but not far away. It supports programs in Marquette County.
• United Way makes it easy to give through payroll deduction or billing options.
• The Unied Way Allocations process allows community volunteers to determine where donated dollars are most needed.
• Donors may designate which agencies or need areas receive their donation.
• Your gift, combined with hundreds of others make a large impact.
• Most of all, your donation is an investment in our community.

In these economic conditions, many agencies are experiencing painful funding cuts that may lead to losses of services for consumers. Many of these agencies depend on United Way funding to provide important health & human service programs for the people of Marquette County.
