The Community Investment Process: Your Community Impact donations are invested each year to effective local programs. Knowledgeable volunteers throughout Marquette County review proposals and interview representatives of programs to determine the investments. By supporting specific programs through a competitive process, United Way has a means of monitoring the success and impact of your donations.
Leadership donors are a special group for the United Way. They make up a relatively small percentage of the population of United Way supporters (5%), but they contribute 30 - 35% of all United Way revenues annually. The requirements for being a leadership donor is an annual contribution of $500 to the United Way.
