American Red Cross - 228-3659
Emergency Services and Support: Offers assistance to victims of single family fires, floods and power outages by providing food, clothing and shelter. Provides emergency communication services to our military and their families.

Janzen House - 226-2271
Provides a safe and adequate living environment for the poor and homeless in the county; provides auxiliary services to improve the quality of life of the residents, promoting their independence. Provides food supplement for residents, and maintains an alcohol-and-drug-free environment.

Lutheran Social Services –226-7410
A transitional living program for homeless individuals and families in Marquette County. The program ensures that basic needs are met while assisting people with employment, education, and life skills. Substance abuse treatment and mental health services are available if needed. Also provides housing placement assistance and individualized case management.

Marquette County Habitat for Humanity - 228-3578
Marquette County Habitat for Humanity is working to eliminate poverty housing in Marquette County by building 4 new single family homes in 2008. Community volunteers and the partner families are working together to complete the safe, decent, affordable homes for low income families to purchase and move into.

Salvation Army-Ishpeming - 486-8121
Helps low income citizens and others, who require assistance with basic needs, acquire the resources they need to live a productive life. It supplies basic human necessities and provides personal counseling.

UP EMS - 228-4182

The Upper Peninsula EMS Corporation, UP-EMS, provides support to communities, organizations and individuals through training, education, technical assistance, resources and advocacy of rural EMS programs.
