Big Brothers Big Sisters - 475-7801
Big Brothers Big Sisters helps boys and girls, most of who reside in single parent homes, achieve their full potential through long term personal relationships with carefully screened and caring volunteers.

Child and Family Services - 228-4050
Strengthening Families Program for Young Children: A program designed to reduce environmental risk factors and improve protective factors for young children (ages 6-11) with the objective of decreasing child abuse and neglect to high risk youth by increasing skills for parents’ love, nurturing and empathy for their children.

Girl Scouts of the Northwest Great Lakes - 225-8020
New Girl Leadership Experience: Designed to develop the three keys to leadership (Discover, Connect & Take Action) that will lead girls to making the world a better place.

Lake Superior Village Youth - 228-3771  After School Program:   Provides an after-school drop-in program, homework help and informal tutoring, 4-H activities, healthy snacks, leadership skill development and physical activity opportunities at the YMCA.

Salvation Army-Marquette –226-2241
The Salvation Army Recreation Center provides safe outlets for Sawyer area youth. The program provides over 425 area children with no-fee activities including a full size gym, recreation tables, games, computers, and other activities.

Teaching Family Homes - 249-5437
Teen Tuesdays: Engages teens in positive activities such as concerts, arts and crafts, and games to decrease at-risk behaviors.

YMCA –227-9622
In order to ensure no members of our community are turned away, the Strong Kids Program provides scholarships for those with financial need and at-risk youth to participate in YMCA programs and activities. Youth benefit from preschool programs, swim lessons, youth sports, and being able to go to a safe place with positive choices and caring adults almost every day of the year.
